Hellooo New Me!

Three. . .Two. . . One. .      HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This time. I'm going to do it for real. You know. Doing the new year's resolution which I should have done last, last year but didn't remember the previous year which I planned a few years ago. I have been lazy and I have been foolish with my decisions. Though this year would be different. I'm going to graduate in a few months meaning change should be in order. But not just for me. Even for you because you I both know it is kind of hard.

Take a deep  breath in, then out. Let's make a pledge here and now that we'll not try to change but will. Because we don't really succeed in trying. Sometimes we just say, "Yeah. I'll change tomorrow." But we end up not doing them. Well, some of us anyway.

And now, here it is. I'm finally going to turn over a new leaf. I need to start studying more. To aim high just like my sister who is currently studying in UST. And just like every person, I want to gain friends. So I'll be a little more approachable. Not so much so people don't abuse my being nice. I want to succeed in life. Just think. Having your dreams come true! Wouldn't that be a sight to see.

For the year that has passed, I thank the great things that happened. Especially with my family and the blessings we've earned. The friends gained and the guy who stayed.  But most of all, God who simply kept us safe and constantly gave guidance.

Good bye 2013. Hello 2014. And hello to the new ME! :)

Bring It!

This year, I learn and experience more and more in school. I get to go to exciting seminars. See some sights, learn to feel the breeze. And take responsibility for my actions.  It’s hard. But I can make it. I know I can do it. And I did!

I have learned a lot and when I have problems, my friends are there to help me. I do hope this next quarter will give me one hell of a challenge but a great experience, too.

Here I am now, soaring and flying. I’m saying goodbye to the previous quarter and hello to the new. More challenges to come. More obstacles to face. But I can do this, right? I already did it last year-- or should I say, last quarter. Yes. I can achieve great heights and I will aim to do it neatly and efficiently. I clearly have some hidden talent. Some may not see me seriously because I don’t look that influential. But this time, I’ll make them take a second glance. I can be great if I want to and I can make them realize that I am special, too.

Well, thank you God for a great quarter. I’m ready for the next one. Bring it on, world!

Christmas: The One And Only

It is being celebrated everywhere. America, Britain, Spain, Philippines, you name it. And what do people think? The gifts to be received, the greats feasts, the money to be spent. But what is really important?

Sharing, giving. Celebrating Jesus’ Christ’s birthday with family and making everyone feel loved especially on this very special day.

Not much knows how happy they should be on this day. How they should be grateful because the Savior was born on that day. What they think about are how they are going to be bitter because they don’t have a girlfriend or boyfriend to spend that day. There are other ways to spend it. P
eople! Don’t be selfish. Instead of thinking of a lover that you wish you have, think of God and how He loves us all so much that He gave His only Son. Think of the poor who don’t have a family to spend it with. We are all created equal. We are all created special in His eyes. Try to think that when you see the ones in need because they need company more than we, the fortunate ones. It could bring a smile to their faces.

Spread the love and spread the joy! Merry Christmas everyone!
