Reflection
Here's cheers again as we pass on the third grading period.
I have learned a lot this quarter and I realized how fun it is to edit photos and make them more lovely than they were before. I honestly thought it would be boring. But it was not. In fact, I had a great time changing the hair color of the celebrities and the non-celebrities as well. Adjusting the layers, making sure that the picture is not too bright or dark.
This quarter has been a great experience for me for it helps in educating me a lot.
Thank you for the quarter today and the fun. I'll hope to also pass and exceed in the future lessons and plans for the school. Encountering problems was hard. But solving them with the help of my friends were easy.
Okay. It's time to bid farewell to the 3rd Quarter. For the 4th, Hello to you!
The Future
Now, how do I say this?
Future. None of us really know what awaits us. Whether we'd have the profession we've always wanted since kinder or something completely different from what we have originally planned.
I don't really know what to think. But I'm wondering though what it would be like a few years from now. The youth today have greater views and have higher perspectives in life but what good is that? I'm thinking of the future but a part of my thoughts are telling me that there might be a possibility that maybe the system we live in might become corrupt. Or that the children I'll soon have might be more attached to technology rather that my husband-to-be and my family. I'm thinking of the life I want to have and how I would want it to go my way.
I might be fast-forwarding too much but the phrase 'what if' keeps going on my mind. It's clear how the world is grasping life into a more modernized world. That would, though would be nothing without a great leader.
I'm actually graduating this year and I want to pursue something in Medicine like my father. I hope it goes well for me. It's what makes me happy and motivated. Studying hard is a way for me to reach my goal and go on that straight path to success. But besides this dream, I wish that in the future, the guy I like today would be the person my father would like to see and walk me to the aisle to. He has been holding a great part in my life. He serves as an inspiration. A guide also for me to lean on to. I know somewhere out there that he's cheering me on. We both want to succeed so, we'll help each other. That's what humans are great at, right? Helping each other and giving a hand. I know as much as he does that we won't give up in our dreams.
Just like everyone else, I'd like to travel, too. With my family, of course or my future husband and family. As I said earlier, I need to work harder to do the things I want. In the future, we'll learn the meaning of content, too. Appreciate it as we have always been doing.
With God and determination by my side, I'm sure all will end well and the path towards success would
be making me strong.

The Kannawidan Yloco Festival.
From the dates January 31 until February 6, the Ilocanos have celebrated what we call the Kannawidan Yloco Festival. It shows the diversity of the Ilocanos. Showing off their different cultures and traditions just how our ancestors would have liked it. It shows us our roots and how we should never forget where we truly came from.
And this year, it has been ensured by Gov. Ryan Singson that this festival would be a success and that it would be much more exciting than it has ever been.
In Ilocos Sur, you would just see how amazing, different and unique the people are. It makes us so proud to be a part of a great celebration, for this is not just for the Ilocanos but to every person so that we can show how talented and creative these people are. For every town, there's a different product which you can't just resist. Let this be a reminder of how even if the world today is full of technology and whatnot that we can't put our culture behind but burst it out and showcase it more. Show everyone what we are made off.
Ilocos may be only viewed as historic but there are so much more than meets the eye. The Kannawidan Festival is also a great way for promoting our products and showing the tourists what is so fantastic about it. How you can't only enjoy life through shopping or going to big fancy and industrialized malls but also through walking on the streets, you would be able to read a story and catch a glimpse of a simple but nearly-perfect life as an Ilocano.
Remember to be proud of something so dear to our ancestors. It may seem out of this world but that's the beauty of it. The Ilocanos are unique. So put into mind that we will forever have the Ilocano blood in our veins. Long may it reign. As they say it.
Change. What do you think?
When you think of change, what first comes into your mind? The world, right? And how it should become a better place for every one of us.
But how could change start if we, ourselves-- or most of us have drawn into the conclusion wherein we are at content of what we have now? No. That shouldn't be the guide for a greater tomorrow. Every now and then, we must seek to find improvement. Especially in ourselves. Do you remember that famous saying? The one that says, "Change starts with me." So why can't it? At times, we think too lowly of ourselves, underestimating our means and skills. Some don't see our potential and settle for less greater things.
One must have courage in achieving with what he or she wants. So what I say now is that change starts with me! I can improve, intently, I believe in the simple things I do. Becoming less lazy and all. Also, to c other to follow my ways and views. Well, not all of what I do but change themselves into something more creative and more enthusiastic about life.
What do you say about that? If we work together and help each other to go higher, I'm certain we'll be able to pass our boundaries and exceed in life. Thank you for reading. God bless.
